On Saturday, Mar 20, 9:30-12:00, the Trail Team will be joining the Washington Native Plant Society in the ongoing effort to control the invasive European dune grass on Point Wilson.

The plan is to meet by the bath house on the east side of the road to the Lighthouse at 9:30 to discuss the work. There is ample parking on the old hangar pads across the road from the bath house for those with a Discover Pass. For those without a DP there is parking across the road from the Pier.

At this time we must apply to Washington State Parks for permission to conduct work parties. We must include the names of all participants in the application. If you’d like to participate please email me before the end of the day Mar 12 so I can submit the application early on Mar 13.

More details will be forthcoming as the date approaches. Obviously the work takes place in a beautiful place. It should be fun!
