On Saturday, April 17, 9:30-12:00, the Trail Team will be tackling the Scotch broom growing in patches on the north side of Point Wilson. Quite a few large plants are growing in Knapp Circle, on the water side of Battery Kinzie, and in the area just west of Trail B-1, at the north end of the Beach Campground.
The plan is to meet in the parking area located near Knapp’s Circle and the Pt Wilson Lighthouse at 9:30 to discuss the work.
At this time we must apply to Washington State Parks for permission to conduct work parties. We must include the names of all participants in the application. If you’d like to participate please email me before the end of the day April 10 so I can submit the application early on Mar 13.
