The Jan 16 event will meet at the Marine Science Center Museum at 12:00. We will be assisting Americorps with guidance and logistical support in removing invasive dune grass along the beach.

The work: the photo on the left shows tools that work well on Ammophila (shovel, spade, digging fork). One must loosen a deep-seated root system and carefully pull out the plants, shake off the sand (important!) and deposit on a tarp.
